I Made Wild Animal Wallpapers With AI (and Ranked Them)
Every cover image on this blog is an AI-generated wild animal. Here are my prompts, my rankings, and the snow leopard that broke my brain.
if u havent noticed, every post on here has a wild animal on it. no reason. i just think theyre neat. heres my ranking of every one ive made so far:
the ranking
- snow leopard - the fur detail is unreal. this one is my desktop wallpaper.
- lynx - those eyes. the ear tufts. 10/10.
- gray wolf - classic. howling at the moon. a little cliche but i dont care.
- great horned owl - looks like it knows my browser history.
- red fox - cute but the AI gave it five legs on the first try. fixed it.
- grizzly bear - catching a salmon. the water spray is chef's kiss.
- raven - spooky. perfect for tech posts.
- bull moose - big boy. majestic. dumb face.
my prompt formula
[animal] in [habitat] at [time of day], [mood] lighting,
ultra detailed fur/feathers, cinematic, 16:10 aspect ratio,
subtle neon magenta and cyan rim light
the "neon rim light" bit is what makes them match the blog theme.
tips
- always specify the aspect ratio or u get a square
- if it gives the animal extra limbs, add "anatomically correct" (doesnt always work lol)
- run each prompt like 4 times and pick the best one
- dont use real photographers names in prompts. be cool.
drop ur requests in my DMs. next up: a pangolin. maybe an axolotl.
